In this blog, I am going to show you how you can see penguins live from the comfort of your home, thanks to a webcam installed in Antarctica. I’m also going to tell you some curiosities about penguins, such as their habits, their diet and their colors.
Penguins are birds that cannot fly, but adapt very well to the aquatic environment. They have waterproof plumage that protects them from cold and water. Their wings have transformed into fins that allow them to swim with speed and agility. Their feet have webs that help them propel themselves through water and walk on ice.
Penguins live in the southern hemisphere, mainly in Antarctica, but can also be found in other regions such as South America, Africa, Australia and New Zealand. There are around 18 species of penguins, which differ in their size, shape and colors.
